Bjarnsreicht had ended for what I thought was forever in May of 2015. After many years of putting out experimental releases and abstract outbursts, a harsh noise wall was built and abandoned. I began to feel it again throughout that time when I wasn't making "music" like a phantom limb reeling from sonic shrapnel. Here it is, resurrected, the life cycle beginning over. I had feelings and thoughtforms to deal with. Ones that hadn't occurred for many years. I decided to grow some new compositions.

This collection of art noise is a cathartic release of antique fragments and half dreamt recurrences, a memory garden in nowhere... The basic crux of the entire opus is a childlike recollection of the empty place I came from, the awesome and terrible landscape that is now a ghost to me, and an attempt to connect my own experience of being a child there to my family now. It was a beautiful and frightening emptiness, frail and wild and viscous and sharp all at once. Intense yet comforting. This is a sonic reliving of that - I let my family be my voice and the abrasive soundscapes around them are the pieces of that world no longer there.

To put the feeling of everything enormous, ancient, terrifying and oddly endearing, scary and home into an experience that can be shared;
The words are failing this haunted person, which is why this recording exists. I don't see myself in those memories anymore, but I do see my loved ones. This is their record more than it is mine.
